13th February 2018: Grant Writing Advice for Health and Social Care Researchers
Feel free to drop in to the Deans’ Committee Room* at Southampton General Hospital any time between 12-2pm on Tuesday 13th February 2018 to receive advice on writing/improving a grant application for health and social care research.
If you have an idea for a research proposal that you would like to discuss or if you are on the verge of submitting a fully drafted application (or anywhere in between), advisers from the Research Design Service South Central are keen to meet with you to offer their expertise.
The Research Design Service South Central provides research design, patient involvement and methodological support to health and social care researchers to develop grant applications to the NIHR and other national peer reviewed funding programmes. Advice is confidential and free of charge.

It is not necessary to make an appointment – you are welcome to drop in any time. But if you could email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you are interested, that will help us to plan for the event.
