Reuben is a medical statistician for the Research Design Service South Central. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University, Kenya, MSc in Applied Statistics, and MSc in Biostatistics both from University of Hasselt, Belgium. He completed his PhD in 2010 at Bournemouth University. His PhD research involved an epidemiological life course analysis aimed at examining the role of early life psychological factors in the development of middle age chronic diseases. He has previously worked as a Statistician at African Population and Health Research Centre, Nairobi, and as a research advisor with the Dorset Research and Development Support Unit. His work experience involved mainly the analysis of longitudinal data in biomedical and public health problems, but also has particular interest in clinical trials and statistical methods for missing data.
