She is currently working on an ESRC-funded project exploring the everyday lives of recovering heroin users. Jo is a Senior Editor of “Addiction” and on the editorial board of “The International Journal of Drug Policy”. She has published widely in the substance misuse field, including a monograph entitled “Drug Users in Society” (Palgrave, 2001). Her latest book, “Research Methods for Health and Social Care”, was published in 2008, also by Palgrave.
